City of Mansfield's 2011 Annual Christmas Parade & Festival

The 2011 Annual Christmas Parade & Festival rolled down the streets of Mansfield Saturday, December 10
thrilling all the children and families with no less than 80 entries including riding clubs and New Orleans' stilt dancers. The Mansfield Alive Committee once again put on a historical event topping one of the City’s largest parades to date.… pulling out all the stops.  Beautifully decorated floats, automobiles, marching bands, dancers, dignitaries, and of course, the perennial visit from ole St. Nick himself kept parade-goers busy for nearly an hours with entertainment and candy.

Also, back by popular demand, New Orleans’ own Krewe of Zulu Stilt Dancers did not disappoint as they
came towering above the crowd in their shining festive colors and masks. After the parade crowds gathered
around the courthouse square in Downtown Mansfield for an evening of music, food and shopping. The local band, Versatile, performed holiday songs in their Motown - R&B style along with their own renditions of popular POP hits.
