Campbell to represent District E

Kervin Campbell was sworn into the District E seat at Monday’s city council meeting by the DeSoto Parish Clerk of Court Jeremy Evans. Campbell, a native of Mansfield, was elected as a result of the April 6 election which named him victor. He will complete the unexpired term of the late Alvin Ray Woodley.

Campbell immediately assumed the duties of the council seat at Monday’s (April 22) meeting. Numerous Campbell supporters attended including family members, brothers, and members of the Mansfield Middle School “Gentlemen’s Club” in which Campbell mentors young men how to be successful and how to be a gentlemen.

Campbell will complete the term which expires in June of 2014. The City of Mansfield, Mayor, and city council are excited about the progression yet to come for the City of Mansfield.
