Mansfield Business & Civic Association

“Providing Community Awareness”

MBCA logoMansfield Business & Civic Association, Inc. was formed in 2006 by a group of concerned business
owners and civic minded individuals.  Because of the influx of people into the Mansfield area due to the
Haynesville Shale and movie companies; this group decided that there was a need for our organization.

We are a 501C3 non-profit organization.  Through the years, we have accomplished much to be a small group.
Some of our accomplishments: published a map showing points of interest around Mansfield, encouraged the film
industry to come to our parish, completed landscaping of the Gazebo Park, hosted the Christmas on the Square
2007-2009
, adopt a planter program in downtown Mansfield, hosted Scarecrow Days, worked cooperatively with
DeSoto Parish Agriculture on bringing a Farmers Market to the parish, decorates Gazebo seasonally, worked with City
on the Day of Service 2010 and hosted A Girls Night Out:  Fashion Tea & Me 2009-2011.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Mansfield Business and Civic Association is to beautify the
City of Mansfield and in return, promote tourism, business ownership and a feeling of community.
