Customers will see pressure swings in the water distribution system throughout the night as the plant operators work to establish a sufficient water level in the elevated storage tank. Our goal is to have the system stabilized with adequate pressure by mid-morning on Friday. Again, thank you for your continued patience.
ATTENTION!!!
Boil Advisory remains in effect.
The water system pressure is gaining and will continue throughout the day. Normal operating pressure should be established by midday at the current flow rate.
Thank you all again for your patience and understanding!
With freezing temperatures expected, residents are encouraged to take steps now to protect their homes and prevent frozen or burst pipes. Cover and insulate all exposed pipes. If you are leaving your home, turn off the water supply and drain your pipes. Stay safe and warm.

If you see DOTD or city workers in your area, this is the work they will be performing. These efforts are part of ongoing maintenance to help improve drainage across the city. Thank you for your patience as crews continue this work.

Mayor Jones offered a blessing over the meal served to residents, family and friends. Chief Johnson, Chief Ross, and HR Director Sonja Byrd helped pass out gifts to residents from under the tree.
Moments like these remind us that the holidays are about presence, gratitude, and community. We’re thankful for the opportunity to connect, share smiles, and celebrate the season together.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

The City of Mansfield joined DESRI, Cleco, and local parish officials on Friday to break ground on the Dolet Hills Solar Project, a $250 million investment that will bring one of the largest solar farms in Louisiana to Desoto Parish.
The project covers nearly 3,000 acres, will create hundreds of jobs, and is expected to remain in operation long term. This marks a major step forward in bringing new energy opportunities to Mansfield and we are proud to be a part of it.
Mayor Jones highlighted the positive impact this project will have on our local economy. The increased activity from construction crews and industry partners is expected to boost local businesses across Mansfield over the coming years.

Jessie Cooper employed for almost 5 decades
Roosevelt Thomas employed 27 years
Marvin Wells employed for 20 years
These men have given their time, energy, and dedication and we are deeply grateful. Please join us in congratulating them on their well earned retirement and thanking them for the many years they have devoted to our community.
